AZ: Grand Canyon – A Few Kanab Creek Slots

Just got back from several days in the Grand Canyon, tooling around some of the Kanab Creek slots. Here’s a quick report and photos: https://mikeshikes.wordpress.com/2016/04/22/great-big-kanab-and-a-few-of-her-slots/

And here’s an homage to Ram, who is pictured in Todd’s book in Crack Baby, on the penultimate rap in that slot. Bob is very close to the exact position on the rap. (Tom Jones, we used a second piece of webbing as a hand line to provide a modicum of control on the start, making it much less awkward than anticipated–hate to slam into those sharp limestone teeth waiting to eat you!)
