Other – Rock Creek, Mazatzal Mountains January 30th 2016

This is a gem of a canyon with 12 rappels up to 180 and amazing rock formations. We had some good flow and the air temp was nice on this day with direct sun for most of the upper section. I suspect this time of year if you were to get to the first rap at 8:00am instead of 10:00am like we did its possible you would have direct sun in the lower section as well but don’t hold me to that. The hike up is long and the exit is a bit rough too so getting an early start is key.
