1. Great weather.
2. Little less water than usual in Neon and Choprock.
3. Bugs were out but tolerable. Scratching my ears.
4. Like, 20 cars at Egypt trailhead, every camp spot is taken near mouth of Fence and Neon.
5. Choprock was superb. The light around noon in early summer is nearly vertical, which makes for stunning visuals. No grim section at all. There was an ethereal light show in a dark chamber: two columns of light and a dancing electrical blue reflection on the wall.
6. There was an awesome jump in Choprock: from the top of a log into a slot with bombay and large deep chamber with clear cold water. Best. Ever.
7. I think there were a couple of fires (very discrete) going on at Fence camp. Not quite right.
