Meet up with Luke for a little family canyoneering trip. He and I introduced our families to Fin’s and Things canyon. It was a great day out with the kiddos.
As always, canyoneering with kids proves to be a wonderful adventure. The kids all seemed to have a lot of fun.
Again, as always, a typically short route ended up taking a little more than 7 hours to complete.
My favorite moments were watching my son walk along the canyon walls, climb on little rocks, constantly hug the 9 month old baby, slide down the zip-line we rigged for the last drop, and go swimming in the upper pools of mill creek!
Here is a video of the trip. Enjoy!

Hi Kuenn,
Thanks for your kind comments. I hope you are doing well.
My son, at :47 was protesting me for not letting me let him back in the water. he was so mad when I made him dry off and get back in the paci! I was surprised he wanted in the water so badly.

Ha! The apple didn’t fall very far…

It baffles me how much they seem to like things that their parents like

Very nice to see your work again, Blake. Refreshing!!
Can honestly say that after many years of doing this vertical stuff…first time I ever saw an “on-roper” with a paci! (Although, there has been a few times when I needed one.)
Loved the little man’s objection at :47 of the short video, “my parents have lost it!”

From Heaps to Fins & Things…it’s the circle of life!
