UT: North Wash – Middle Fork of Leprechaun Canyon – North Wash, UT 11-11-2012

Leprechaun Canyon has three different Forks Left Fork “Shamrock”, Middle Fork “Shimrock”, and Right Fork “Upper Leprechaun”. We did all three, but this is the video for Middle Fork. It is fun with some rappels right at the beginning of the canyon and and is the hardest and most energy draining of the three forks. It is dry pretty much all year unless it has just rained, then it will only be muddy. There is also lots of tight sections and even I with my 29in waist got a little stuck in. Bigger framed people will need to stem more and stay high, while smaller framed people such as the four of us in this video were all able to mostly stay on the ground. Fun Canyon!

    Awesome…

We are trying to get rid of the ambiguity of “left” and “right”, going with East and West. It would be great if you would participate in this quest.

  • You have very good form, Jeff. Great use of the shoulder, with the hip for minor braking. The slithering through is graceful and energy efficient. Very nice
