Diana and I stopped by and did a quick jaunt in Upper Stair last Saturday on our way down to Cap Reef. It stormed something fierce the day before, so there was piles of hail that looked like snow drifts in places. The walls were extremely sandy from the storm making the going tougher than usual. Skies were getting black and thunder was cracking so we bailed on the final section. I wore the GoPro for once, so though I would share.

I HATE stemming on wet, sandy walls. And all that effort to keep feet dry, not to mention the rock is about 1/4 as strong as when dry. Nice effort all around. At least the rain from the day before probably made the sandy road up to there more manageable. Nice effort and shared experience. Thanks for sharing. Come back for the 2nd section sometime. Good stuff…Oh and i love the sound of the go pro hitting the walls
