My friend Branden shared a video with me of his recent descent of Eardley. With his permission I am posting it here. Last year we talked about cold weather canyoning and here he is giving it a go. A reminder….. Ice forms in canyons that are open to the sky faster than in narrow canyons. Also, ice is slow to form and slow to melt. Match that fact with the recent weather and weather further back than you might consider, to become more accurate on what conditions you are likely to find. Of course,Branden is the fellow in the helmet.
