Lots of rain and wind on the drive, both directions. However, the clouds parted and the skies cleared for a swell day. After we set up a mountain bike shuttle, we were quickly on our way.
This one is very beginner friendly, and even OK for young families. The rappels are fairly straightforward, and the canyon is easy and wide. The only caution is the escape. There are a couple of dryfalls you must climb around on some crumbly steep rock, which are combined with a narrow ledge or two. It can be protected for others in the group if needed. And finally the exit has 2-3 tough class 4 moves with a bit of 5th class thrown in. We opted to anchor a rope to be safe before we started.
