Just a few photos from Middle Echo last weekend. The water was chilly, so I’d like to commend the subjects for their patience and shiver suppression skills.

A few weeks ago I carried my Canon 1D through Pine Creek with a lightweight tripod, but only took it out once. As you can imagine is slowed me down a bit as I had to treat my pack with th utmost care. I might try again on another short canyon and bring my old 10D. I’m not as worried about that getting wet or ruined as I don’t think it is worth much anymore. I wish my waterproof panasonic had a manual setting because I think that is the key for many canyon situations.

These were taken with an older Canon 20D digital SLR.

Great pics! – it really is a fun little canyon. The kids love the cavern connected to the semi-keeper that they call the “toilet bowl”, what camera are you using? your pics are always top quality!

I must be a wimp as I wore my drysuit the weekend before. But then again knowing I had 3 beginners…I ended up spending extra time in the water.
Nice pics! Thanks Todd.

A little sulfur in spots, but otherwise quite nice. No poo-water to be found.

Does it smell like poo yet (we’re supposed to do it next week)?

Such a rad set, thanks Todd.
