A couple of weeks ago, I made a foray into Big Canyon in the Little Colorado Gorge complex. This was a first use of Todd’s fine tome, and while the narrows were short, the combination of the spring-fed stream and crazy travertine waterfalls was absolutely unique. A very enjoyable overnight trip, including some friendly scorpions around the fisheries camp.

A damn nice set Chris. I’m surprised at how green the moss is on the travertine formations this time of year. That big keeper in Salt Trail Canyon is waiting for your return. While the keeper is certainly the signature feature, the rest of the canyon is actually pretty good too
