That’s right. Always remember that “All generalizations are false.” Oh, wait…

Thanks for bringing this post down to my level. I’m thinking that we should agree in advance never to discuss religion or politics.

Tom is correct, English is my first language. Wish I could use ESL as an excuse. Writing in fragments is a problem I tend to suffer from at least once in these posts. I tend to edit for content and removal of unintended interpretations, not structure (though I am fallible in all three editing categories). I apologize for the unattended consequences (i.e. headaches) this may have. Don’t recommend you ever read my creative writing, it will likely drive you crazy.

Must evaluate how my post came across as a “gratuitous attack on Tom.” Tom called me out on an incorrect generalization. My intention was to point out the irony. This obviously did not go over well with a portion of the group.

I support feedback, Gordon. Just request it remain constructive with with fewer requests of comedic torture.

No more kicks for the dead horse from me, back to editing my research paper (sentence fragments = failure).

Very true statement Bill… Some people get a boost of tough guy syndrome, and inflated ignorance, when sitting behind a computer. I too am certain most people would hum a different tune if in a face to face discussion.

Maybe typed discussions digress the way they do because were all just pissy that we are on a computer and not out in a canyon?
