Odds are low but is anyone out in Europe and interested in canyoning this weekend? I managed to link up with a great group this weekend in Italy for Bodengo 1, 2, and 3 (Marco Leonini, Jonas Fast, Guisseppe Amatulli, Paolo, Claudia, and Meyul (spelling)). Since work is going to keep me in Madrid another week, I’m wondering if anyone out there is interested in a little canyoning in the Pyrennes or elsewhere this weekend. Unfortunately, no one from the group from Bodengo is available this weekend. Either that or they noticed how bad my 5.10s smell

Couple of us will be in the Grenoble area in a few weeks (Mid October). Alas, no canyons planned. Just that durned ol’ climbing thing.
We’re going to finish up in Belgium near Dinant/Namur/Freyr the last week of October. Give us a shout if you’re in the area (counts for anyone!).

I will be canyoning in central switzerland this weekend for my birthday. It will be a good weekend if you can make it: Turnigla (amongst the best 5-10 canyons in Europe, comparable with Maglia, Lodrino, etc) on Saturday, and Chli Schliere (excellent fun canyon near interlaken) on Sunday. Nearest airport are Zurich and Basil – best if you could fly in Friday late. You need a thick wetsuit as the water is very cold in that area (glacier melt)
