Eric and Denise were in there recently. They report the need for crampons on approach. Did they say snowshoes too? The canyon is flowing and they got quite the shower on the 3rd rap. The usual water coming down the rope, down the arm and onto the neck!! Yikes! At least it wasn’t like what Tom experienced…the water freezing turning the rope to ice and making pulling the rope….ahhhh…challenging. They also report that the final two raps gave quite the cold shower too. The rangers met them at their car. Apparently concerned were they. D and E’s comment? Anyone who doesn’t think Behunin is a real canyon should talk to them. Ummm. R
