Bolt Removal techniques- Can You say ECO TERRORIST

Here ye, here ye, Ski is back!!

It seems some AAAAA’s and YYYYY’s show up when posts are made from certain other formats, like Word, but no matter. More interesting is calling those who object to taking hammers and drills to the natural environment as the eco terrorists….but this is kind of obviously skewed, is it not? But am I am “out of state” bully, as some have said, who’s opinion should not carry as much weight, even taking about FEDERAL lands. Oh, never mind. Really, I am trying to have fun here.

This was kinda fun seeing some get worked up out of a vacuum and others because it is their nature to do so. My take is…if one is going to be “challenged” (nice choice of word?) on one’s views, one should at least be playing…..soooooo….lets see……What to play about?

There was a rescue in Larry a year or so ago. A pair of bolts were put in….was it actually ON a chockstone or was it right next to one. Never found out if SAR actually was the ones to put them in for convenience reasons, in connection to the rescue. Mind you, the canyon had been done for decades naturally, even rediscovered in the modern era by Tom and the famously bolt tolerant Brian Cabe. Done naturally by them back in…. was it 01? Should these bolts be left or removed….and why? Not wanting to go to war over such minor things, but I am always curious how specific cases can garner more or less support from “the middle” depending on circumstance.
