Boundary Conditions, 6-23-2011 (AWESOME!)

Went through Boundary yesterday. It was AWESOME! About 50% more water than I’ve seen in there before, so a little pushy, but not dangerous beyond usual Class C stuff. So much fun.

Then the hike out.

Kolob was running about 15 cfs, and the Boundary to MIA section took an hour 40 minutes. The Kolob water is quite warm.

MIA was like it usually is – a grunt. Quite a few changes in there vis a vis a debris flow up high and trees and stuff moved around a lot. It was a big winter.

The second. Not difficult, just slow as you are in knee-deep water a lot, and the rocks are slippery.

Very cool Tom! So would you guess your prediction from last year that ‘Boundary is the new Kolob’ will sustain this year as well?
