Randi….thanx for the TR. Those swamps you saw become dusty come high season. How much flow was there in Echo? When there is a lot, it tends to erode out the big snow mounds, making for a shorter icebox season in there. Yikes on the snow bomb from above. Objective dangers indeed. Wish I were there to take a cautious peek. R

Consider yourself having an open invitation to join us whenever. I tend to hit Zion really hard this time of year, and then start heading for the Sierra come May. Just lemme know when you wanna do something.
“Your road trip doesn’t start til June, right?”
Yep. And I cannot wait. I’ll be off the grid for 6 solid weeks. I repeat – I cannot wait.

DB? Naah, you’ll never catch her online. But she’s right here next to me and says hello.

Hi Chaz! It was so of spur-o-the-moment, and I really needed to get home right away afterward! But it sounds like you guys had a lot of fun! I LOVE inclement weather! And I LOVE multi-pitch climbing *easy stuff!
I really enjoyed your company in DV, and DB AKA p***h! and Rick too! Or is his name Kent? jk ~ ~
I’m definitely looking forward to hanging out again! If you’re looking for a third wheel, and planning anything in the Panamints or Vegas, or Zion for sure let me know! I’ll be in the Panamints this weekend doing a hike up to Panamint City (maybe beyond), then I’m leading a bunch of newbies down Eaton Canyon here in the San Gabriel’s the following W/E.
I have no plans after that until May!
Wanna let me tag along on something cool? Your road trip doesn’t start til June, right? We got plenty of time to hang out!
I plan to spend lots of time in the Sierra’s this summer too. Can I interest you, DB & Rick/Kent in an ascent of the Swiss Arete? You & Rick lead!
PS: Still gonna get you that GW Pictograph info when I get it.
Happy Adventures! (DB ever post here? Say “hello” for me please!)

Hey Randi,
I wish I would have known you were in Zion this weekend, as DB and I were as well. Got in a couple really nice climbs, particularly a fun, easy multi-pitch route up an unnamed peak with stunning views. Great stuff. Climbed in a snowstorm yesterday afternoon on the Terrace too. Geesh, spring weather!
