The Egroup has been a great way for us canyoneers to open up lines of communication. I’ve learned a lot, not the least that there are lots of different ways of doing things, some even better that what I’ve figured out.
But the Egroup does not really allow for extensive discussion.
So I’m starting a website / Magazine called CanyoneeringUSA. The purpose is to foster communication, educate, discuss philosophy etc, in a somewhat more expansive manner than is possible in the Egroup. I am hoping this can be a community effort, and, with energy from many people, will become something of value to the canyoneering community.
I’m looking for articles and essays. I have a list of the kind of things I am looking for, but really part of the question is “What would you like to see?”
First Publication Date: March 1, 2001. But since it is e-zine only, I’m not real sure what that means.
Please check it out, and consider contributing either an well-crafted essay, and interesting story, or a useful and clear technique piece.
