Hi All, My wife Maria and I work for ZAC here in Springdale and we drive this road every day at least once taking clients for The Narrows top-down. Last year I drove it over 300 times and this year seems to be even busier so far. This morning it was the usual, bumpy, dusty drive and from the beginning of the dirt road just past Ponderosa Ranch to the trailhead takes a half hour. I recommend the shuttle(not only because I’m the driver!), as it will save wear and tear on your vehicle. If it rains, this road is impassable, even with a 4wheel drive as it gets extremely slick. I was stuck once last year with a Land Cruiser! But after a couple hours of sun on it, it dries very quickly. Be safe out there…. Steve. (The MaxxiPad guy).
