I used to only carry a drill/baby angle emergency kit (not a bolt kit) in undocumented canyons but I’m starting to carry it more often because I see how much canyons can change after a flood. Also good insurance if someone gets hurt and you have to move fast to get help.
I’ve mentioned this before but .. bolt’s are slower to place in an emergency. Too many parts and tougher to remove later when you come back to undo the damage. Use baby angles for emergencies. -s
