I’m gonna be headed down the ‘sclant in a couple of weeks for an extended visit and am thinking about taking a few beers and some fresh food. I’m looking for “coolers” that are close to the river and easy to access and a reliable source of very cold water– either slots or springs. Places like the mouth of Ringtail come to mind– I bet the water in there is 45F or less and you could either cache properly secured stuff in it and leave it overnight or take a collapsible bucket or bladder of water out of it and use it to cool things at a camp near the river. Anybody know of any others? Steve Pace
