Floating the Dirty Devil. Anyone here done it?

I have used what we used to call a 2-man raft. Put your pack in the front and use oars in the oarlocks. It rolls up and goes in the pack(15lb) when you are at the take out. I have used the same boat for (gasp) 30 years running small rivers in So Utah(the Price, the Escalante,The Muddy, the Paria and the DD) and it worked very well. The DD would be a great, relatively flat float this year and being able to float into the confluence with the Colorado. The one to float this year is the Paria: there is a tremendous snowpack in it’s drainage. I did it in 79 and 80, early April and late March respectively. This year would be great in that same time period as there is rarely enough water to float the Paria.
