Visited my old friend Imlay Canyon today. Interesting conditions: very dry, with lots of sand – thus, very, very few interesting pothole escapes. One or two swims. Three places where we did throws. 5:45 am to 2:30 pm (rap into the Narrows); and our first-canyon boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

> That is indeed remarkable. I’ve done it in many conditions but never when there was just one swim. It was really fun when I did it when it was flowing about 0.5 csf but it wasn’t challenging. It could be challenging with so little water or perhaps just dry. In any case I’m jealous that you get to do it Tuesday. I think I’ll be voting and working. Have a great time.
