First pictures from Raven/Foxhole. On this day we discovered a live fox in a pothole. Ryan made extra efforts to get the fox out, but to no avail. When I recently told Steve Allen about the fox story, he said we should use Foxhole as the name, rather than Raven, which was his orginal name used because of a nest they found in there. I think that was it anyway? But it is the older name, so….
Next is Headless Hen. As folks who did the canyon with me last week were told, there were some deep holes below those pools they swam across. Here some of that can be seen. Challenging place in low water.
Finally there is the Mud, the Blood and the Fear AKA DDI, which was my first real day out with Rick Green and the day we became close friends. I will link the story below the pictures. Tom just tried to teach me tinyurl, so all bets are off! ;-) Ram

it’s nice finally to see the images associated with mbf/ddi and foxhole stories. thanks for sharing all of these, ram.
link to ryan’s story of fox hole canyon http://www.ajroadtrips.com/go/information/history-and-stories/foxhole.html
also, the origin of the “raven” naming was because they found 3 dead ravens in the canyon
