For anyone interested, a group of us descended Knotted Rope this last weekend. With all the recent discussion of the 300′ rappel, I took a few extra pictures of the drop showing possible anchor points – and so anyone going knows what they are in for.

The canyon at the bottom of the fall is a stunning spot, easily as beautiful as anything I’ve seen in the swell. You are in for a treat!

Looks like a short hunk of rope tied to several of them boulders (and maybe that Juniper too) will suffice as an anchor. I think Tom had that fingered out already…but…great stuff! Looks like a looooong drop! I’m guessin’ if some folk wanted practise jugging a line, this’d be a good ‘un!
