Awesome TR Matt. I’ve been out the last 10 days and just finally got a chance to read it. Landon the pictures are awesome! Sandthrax was livin the dream in the sick nasty for sure. Keep the TR’s coming. I told you that the people on the trip wouldn’t be the only ones that think your writings are hilarious. How about posting the Heaps rap? I’m sure a few people on the group listen to old school Easy-E and will be able to sing along to it while they read your TR.

Note to the Yahoo who is certainly writing that book “How to Move Like a REAL Canyoneer”. Don’t forget to add Brendan’s creative descriptions of more valuable techniques from their now infamous TR:
“sweat, and suffering gleefully howling “livin’ the dream! livin’ the dream! dragged up the crux hump up the crux weaseled up some kind of knee jam torture hogging on bonus tugs suffer up full pendulum smash “bomber” (or maybe they said I would “drop like a bomb”) straddling uber-groin-stretch micro foot jerk stumbled around groin-ripping conjure an anchor teased by the feel of sand underfoot numbed and resigned”
Brendan, thanks for the laughs and the creative visualizations of the place your words conjured up!

That is a great TR Brecha! and this list is going with me to North Wash so I can properly refer to the required movements. Thanks to Matt & Jenny for a great morning laugh!

Awesome TR Brejcha!
What a great canyon. And even better company. Here’s a link to the rest of my photos: http://picasaweb.google.com/117385276182551489996/SandthraxApril172010?authkey=Gv1sRgCJibnPO89NmdoQE#
There’s a couple videos in there of Matt leading the crux. It looks pretty whimpy, but trust me, it’s a lot harder than it looks.
Carlos’ participation was crucial to our success. He is deeply offended to have been left out of the credits. I’m sure he’ll get over it though
