I have lived through a couple of my own stupids! Set up a top rope climb when I was first learning on two runners that was a rope on webbing deal. I inspected the webbing after about the third ascent of the route and realized what an idiot I was being and changed the system. That is the problem w/inexperienced people setting up for even less experienced people. I got lucky that day!
