Rescue crews pull man from Baptist Draw
Search and rescue crews pulled an injured man from the Baptist Draw area of Emery County Saturday afternoon.
The 21-year-old Salt Lake City man fell 20 feet, suffering possible broken ankles, said Emery County Sheriff’s Lt. Bill Downard. A helicopter dropped repelling gear and crews off in the area south of Interstate 70 after someone called 911 about 4:30 p.m. The deputies reached the man about four hours later and he was flown to University Hospital. The man’s name was not released.

Thanks Shaun. Sure seems a lot of folks get hurt and lost around there. The lost i get. The place twists around pretty good and not many tall features as landmarks, but the getting hurt part….Anyybody have thoughts why there so often?
