I have seen the expression”sandbagging”being used for the practice of using bags stuffed with sand as an anchor.As many of you know,the name is already taken.Sandbagging=When you tell your best friend(or your worst enemy)that the climb is EASY,there are HUGE holds that can’t be seen from the ground and that the pitch failed to raise your heart rate. Is there a better term for the canyoneering”sandbagging”practice?
