And that would be Rick Green. Flyin down the Hole in the Rock Road, which he says is recently graded. He is looking to do a bunch of Egypt’s today. Report later. Says the weather is stellar!. R PS off the phone will Bill Wolverton. He promises an assessment for the Pofr’s inquiry on the river and snags.

The Jarbridge, Bruneau and Owyhee region has been tempting me for years, but mainly for boating. Doesn’t seem like you could gor wrong exploring a place with hot springs, waterfalls, slot canyons, and class III-V rapids. Another adventure on the list.

Found this brief report (note, I don’t endorse his opinion of the eradication effort). Perhaps old news by now. Although, it seems like I once saw another one from last spring that mentioned no trees and made good time.

Report from Rick….Made it through E-3, E-2 and E-1 today. The weather was perfect and the color quite nice. Fell through some ice in E-3 and got both feet wet, otherwise the canyons were dry. Picked up a few things that were left behind by the rescue/recovery last Summer. Found two “happy Birthday” mylar (sp?) balloons. No trapped animals or birds, surprisingly. A little sunburnt too.
