Hi – How far up can you go before it gets tight where you have to go sideways? We plan to do both but the wife is a little claustrophobic and we will probably have to turn around. Even if we tun around they both look like they would be neat to do, do you agree? Thanks JLK

they’re both relatively short slot canyons so it’s not very far to go through the entire way each slot. both lower slots you can enter from the bottom and the top if she only feels comfortable going so far in.

yes both are good even if you don’t see the whole thing. also if you walk upcanyon from peekaboo and spooky, the main dryfork of coyote narrows up. it’s not tight slot canyon but it’s a nice section of narrows that will add to your trip. just walk upcanyon as far as you like then turn around.
brimstone of course is a short ways down dryfork of coyote and you can walk up this one too until it gets too tight.
