For those who enjoy viewing canyoneering art online, my wife Bonnie just posted some new works from our adventures over recent months. These include Dropstone (www.bkelso.com/0031_dropstone.html), which some of you might recognize focuses on the big drop block found midway in the lower part of Death Valley’s Fall Canyon, Fan (www.bkelso.com/0028_fan.html), an abstract representation of the many alluvial fans found in Death Valley, and a set of minature paintings of places in the Red Rock Canyon Conservation & Recreation Area (www.bkelso.com/redrock.html) that includes rappelling images from both Ice Box and Ice Cube (The Maze) canyons.
Bonnie will shortly be working on a set of miniatures of favorite scenes from Zion’s canyons. Her current Zion representations include Heaps (www.bkelso.com/0021_heaps.html) and Mystery (www.bkelso.com/0019_mystery.html).
If you have any favorite places or images you think she should try to capture next, please don’t hesitate to send her suggestions at bkelso@yahoo.com.
Enjoy!

My girlfriend and I have acquired some of Bonnie’s work and we are thrilled with them. They are exquisite additions to our home. Visitors always comment on how beautiful and unique the paintings (prints) are and are great converstation starters for anyone who appreciates the natural world. Our two pieces reflect the beauty of Heaps Canyon and Havasu Falls, two truly spectacular places we both have visited.
