Access to the key hole has been an issue. You might want to contact the Zion Adventure group in Springdale just out side of the park.

Skunky. During the day with a small group that moves quickly probably a little chilled but not overly. At night even with wetsuits we avoided staying in the water just to stay normal. Maximum group size created long jamups. Once out of the water and out of wetsuits body temperatures quickly returned to normal. Shot of Jack also helped.

What’s the issue with access to Keyhole Canyon? The Zion online permit system doesn’t show any closures and there are plenty of permits available.

I’m trying to talk some family into going through Keyhole on Wednesday as a way to (temporarily) escape the heat here in Zion. They don’t want to wear wetsuits, nor do they want to experience hypothermia.
What’s the water like right now?
