So, with the current topic at hand, is there any movement within the community to try and modify the BC Plan in Zion for packraft canyoneering? Seems like the Park would have a hard time preventing (though I know they very well could) canyoneers from using boats as a form of egress in the Narrows if the river is above 140 cfs. Seems like the sport has evolved a lot over the last 5 years and is worthy of the NPS to look into. Obviously, the same limits would have to be in place, i.e. below 600 cfs for 24 hours.
Any whispers of this happening out there? Seems like it would be consistent between user groups.
